Sometimes a sequel can be hard.. will it ever meet the high expectations of the first book? ABSOLUTELY. McManus has completely stolen my heart! The book is such an easy yet exciting read, I couldn't put it down! Her characters are so easy to relate to. In this book, we follow Maeve and Knox and I have such an attachment to them both! At first I wasn't sure how much I would enjoy their company compared to the original followings.. however I loved them! Even though you follow these two, you also read about everyone else involved. Overall there are at least 7 or 8 characters! McManus writes about each character in a way that I feel as if I know them in real life. She does this in a way where their personalities are so unique - you don't feel lost on who is talking or when.

There were moments in the book where I thought I had the ending figured out... McManus has an excellent way of leading you to a different outcome. If you enjoy being hooked into reading a book in one sitting - this is the book for you! Fantastic. Thank you Karen M. McManus! A TV series to follow from One Of Us Is Lying... is needed in my life! I cannot wait to see One Of Us Is Next on our screens, as well as the chosen cast! Nothing but 5 stars.
