This book had an unusual twist with murder and religious beliefs, it started very intensely about the murder of a family. I have never read a crime book where we know who the murderer is from the start, I thought this was refreshing and still worked well throughout the story. I did feel that some parts of the book were a little slow, when it came to chapters based on religion but towards the end, a lot of it tied together nicely.

Linda, the female inspector is a strong, brave woman and I enjoyed how Schliech wrote about this character. I was cheering her on to solve the case! The different POV worked well and I enjoyed finding out how the killer was going to be caught! Overall, an interesting and different read! Thankyou to Book Publicity Services for the copy!
